VACAVILLE – Tickets are now available for Soroptimist International of Vacaville’s highly anticipated 2024 “Rocktoberfest” fundraiser, set for Saturday, October 26, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Ulatis Community Center.

The evening will feature a German-themed dinner, live classic rock music from the School of Rock band, and a variety of fundraising activities, including a live auction, a silent auction, and a $25 wine pull with bottles valued at $50 or more. Tickets are priced at $65, with a meal provided by Anderson Family Catering and BBQ, featuring dishes like roasted pork loin with apple chutney, beer brats, roasted Yukon potatoes, and a mixed green salad.

Proceeds will support Soroptimist programs such as scholarships and awards for women and girls working to make the community a better place, according to Soroptimist Co-Presidents Mary Dickey and Clara Oaks. Other projects benefit local high school service clubs, grants for women who are single head of households, and the Dream Maker program, which works with at-risk women to build confidence and self-esteem.

Sponsorships are available starting at $250, with top-tier packages including a $1,000 table for eight.
