Step 1: Finding the Recycling Center

The Vacaville recycling center can be difficult to find based off its address (855 1/2 Davis Street). The facility is at the end of a long driveway off Davis Street located between Winco Foods and the Right Ways Garage Door building.

At the end of the driveway, you’ll enter a gated area. The gate will be open during business hours.

On the right is the recycling facility. Park in a designated space. You’ll have to carry the recyclables into the facility so they’ll need to be in some sort of containers (like plastic trash bags).

You’ll carry your recyclables into the taped off area. As you walk in, there are several large plastic garbage containers shown in the photo above. You’ll dump your recyclables (separated by type) into these bins.

A staff member will then dump your bin into another bin and inspect the recyclables to ensure they are properly separated and no non-recyclable materials are mixed in with the items.

Then a staff member will carry your recyclables into the open garage door of the warehouse to be weighed.
