Steph Curry Visits Benicia

On Saturday (6/29/24), Warriors Point Guard and NBA All-Star, Stephen “Steph” Curry, paid a visit to the small town of Benicia in Solano County. Curry was promoting his branded whiskey, Gentlemen’s Cut at SIPS – The Bottle Emporium, a popular liquor store in the area.

Curry told the crowd that formed around “the Bottle “The Emporium,” “To have a day like this in Benicia, the hospitality has been unreal, so thank ya’ll so much for coming out.”

The appearance was scheduled in advance to promote Curry’s branded whiskey, Gentlemen’s Cut, as well as a major publicity play by SIPS – The Bottle Emporium. He may be the biggest bay area star to appear in the small town of 26,500 people.

Curry stayed on site for about two hours, according to attendees. He signed autographs and spoke with fans. The lines for the event were pretty incredible. Benicia Police and Solano County Sheriff’s Deputies were on site for safety reasons.
