Vacaville Election Results 2024
While there still a few more potential ballots to be counted, this year’s elections appear to be settled in Vacaville. The following local election results for Vacaville are updated as of November 7th, 2024.
Vacaville City Council
In District 1, incumbent Roy Stockton ran unopposed and has decidedly won with 5,537 votes cast for him.
In District 3, incumbent Michael Silva has a commanding lead over challenger Marc Read.
Michael Silva: 2,863 – 74%
Marc Reed: 993 – 26%
In District 5, retired local businessman Ted Fremouw appears to have ousted incumbent Jason Roberts for the council spot.
Ted Fremouw: 3,634 – 56%
Jason Roberts: 2,877 – 44%

Vacaville City Clerk
Incumbent City Clerk, Michelle Thornbrugh, ran unopposed and has received 30,007 votes.
Vacaville City Treasurer
Incumbent City Treasurer, Jay Yerkes, ran unopposed and received 29,768 votes.
Measure E: VUSD School Bond
The school bond measure requires a 55% vote to pass. To date, the results are:
No: 17,642 votes – 50.8%
Yes: 17,070 votes – 49.1%
Vacaville School District
In VUSD Trustee Area 4, Audra Orr appears to have won over incumbent Lindsay Kelly.
Audra Orr: 2,727 votes – 57.7%
Lindsay Kelly: 1,997 votes – 42.2%
In one of the closest contests, VUSD Trustee Area 7, Michele Guerra has received the most votes, beating incumbent Michale Kitzes and challenger George Burton Jr.
Michele Guerra: 1,947 votes – 36.5%
Michael Kitzes: 1,846 votes – 34.6%
George Burton Jr: 1,536 votes – 28.8%
