Funnel Cloud Appears in Vacaville
At around 2:49 PM on Wednesday, March 6th a well-defined funnel cloud appeared over Vacaville. Many took to social media with various pictures and videos of the cloud.
According to county officials, the funnel cloud did not “touch down” and no damage was reported. Still, images of the cloud were scary.
ABC 7 posted a compilation of images and videos of the cloud on X.com.
A funnel cloud was spotted near Vacaville on Wednesday as thunderstorms struck parts of the Bay Area. A funnel cloud is a tight rotating column of air (that is often the start of a tornado) that never reaches the ground. https://t.co/l3vwowtNTo pic.twitter.com/WHmTMILY9M
